Not really going to go too deeply into this tonight, I have a major Headache and a very sore shoulder and neck from work

From the 10 Essential Amino Acids the remainder can be synthesised.

A substance can be found containing all of the Essentials, 48% Protein, 36% carbohydrates and 1% Fat, is just about totally natural and has many other essential Minerals and Vitamins: Marmite!

Sweetcorn also contains high levels of essential amino acids, optimum in histidine, leucine, phenylalanine and valine. Other than overuse lowering results, sweetcorn has worked for years, in summer and winter. Also our standard method of production has been to "Taste enhance" it in tinned form, by adding sugar and salt. Saying that, not all sweetcorn is tinned, and not ALL varieties do have sugar and salt added, but they may make a difference

If we get really into Amino Acids then some seem to be specific feeding triggers, and the one most highly rated is Betaine HCl, closely related to Glycine, yet not an Essential Amino Acid.

Some basic stuff
Food is made up of protein ,carbohydrate and fat
Protein is for tissue repair (humans and carp)
Carbohydrate used for energy in humans and if stored is converted to fat
carp cannot store carbohydrate
Fats break down into 2 types of lipids one is used for energy i cant remember
if the other type is passed through the system or stored.
Protein is made up of 22 amino acids all have to be present in the correct
amounts or they can only work to the level of the lowest amino
(limiting amino).
Essential aminos are the ones the carp cannot produce so
come from the food eaten.Humans need 12 of these aminos but carp only need 10.A chain of aminos is called a peptide.Have read of Tim Paisleys book its all in there.A carp needs approx 30% protein in its diet as that is all it can used.Massive amounts of protein can cause liver problems.Anyone of the aminos could cause a feeding trigger.
