is it an electric steamer or a boiling one? my only concern with an electric one would be the valuable loss of the hemp oils that would be lost
cant beat hemp oil straight from the hemp... mmmmm here carpy carpy...then again would a steamer be able to generate enough heat to cook the hemp through? not to sure... bait buffs... your call!

Freezer/cooler box,pre soaked hemp plus boiling water and slam the lid on,kept in place by something nice and heavy to prevent the pressure build up forcing the lid off,leave overnight and ta da...mint hemp which has not lost its attraction from steam release.
And no moaning mum cos the kitchen pen and inks...
