they are out there mate. but youve got to be prepaired to put your hands deep in your pockets.

"why put an enzyme into a mix only to denature it and render it useless after boiling"

Because they are enzymes that would render boiling totally irrelevant... they would continue to attack that which made the bait go hard in the first place... remember, Albumin (that thing in eggs that coagulates with heat) is a protein....

This whole enzyme thing is interesting... Amino acids and certain peptide chains are the reason carp pick up most food items, you can release them with enzymes.... the trade off is a soft bait....

Anyone claiming to have an enzyme active bait that does not either soften or goes crumbly over time as opposed to hardening has a bait with NO active enzymes in it...

As to bacteria... what is the timespan for evolution.. 35 years??? can they yet cope with complex milk proteins??? I hope so, as carp can't to any degree....

Happy Carping
Pete

You are all vastly mistaken if you think enzymes are the answer to a sluggish digestive tract..... try a sink plunger and Caustic Soda....

No lesson...I actually gave you the answer I was looking for before your top man even tapped a key... Just fishing to see whether another new 'enzyme' bait had been released using natures finest body building supplements or mammalian enzymes . It appears you might be onto something but dont think you have taught me a lesson fella the letters B S C and M S C are after my name for a reason. You can't 'teach your grandma to suck eggs'...

Unless you have the intellect of the bacteria that your bait guru gets his enzymes from I suggest a quick flick through the pages of this little gem... You will be hard pushed to actually find a fact that was dished out by the top man that I hadnt already implanted into your tiny mind...

Night night...

Nobody mentioned catching carp, and your right about the letters thats the first time I have had to draw on my resources in a few years... The threads there for all to see though they can make their own minds up hey...

If he wants to call me a 'shelf life' carper hes knows what to expect....if you can't stand the heat get out of the (bait making) kitchen....
