And yet you never hear people complaining about reels for £300+ or £250 rods. How odd.

I did do for quite some time and would do again if i thought it would help buying a particular bait. Was just making the arguement that if there was something you thought would help would it not be worth paying for?

You dont have to pay that daft price mate, get yourself a chest freezer that will hold 40-50kg of bait, cost you about £100, get onto premier baits, a 30kg bulk order will cost you £150-£180 depending what you want.
Bandit Baits is another good bait company based at Ellesmere, Ive personaly had a lot of big fish on Daves' bait, he's been in the game for many years.

The only thing I spend as much money on as quality bait is quality venue tickets, I enjoy being at nice quiet waters, and a quality bait goes a good way towards helping me catch the fish.

I know people who buy 1-3 sets of rods per year, have 4 different matrix stainless set ups, plus carbon set up.... and yet choose to use shelf life ready made bait because they cant afford to pay for a lot of quality bait and boy does it show in results

Matey im down with the freezer idea, that was gonna be my next fising purchase, a freezer!

Called up the companies direct, buy in bulk straight off them, pick it all up, and pay a cash price.

jobs a goodun!

check out premier baits mate. phone for prices and you can get big discounts on bulk orders if you can store them. you can also use the website (premier baits and tackle) and look at the different base mixes and flavours/enzymes and formulate your own bait. an excellent service
