Default Baiting up baits

This year I want to be able to bait up for my return a few days later in anticipation of weather conditions On a big low stock water.
I cant afford the dosh to buy enough boilies to give me the option to do this regularly and don't have the facilities to make enough in the quantities I want.
So I'm contemplating using tigers or peanuts.

Am I putting myself at a big disadvantage using this tactic??

Cheers

hemp, corn and pellets mate dont fill it in wi just hemp because in large quantities the fish become hooked on it and its not renowed as being a food bait more of an attraction and hold bait.

The lake has bream and tench. I know they love the nuts but by using peanuts or tigers I was hoping some might still be there when the carp arrive!!

They would demolish the hemp and sweetcorn before the low stock of carp got a look in.

just keep it going in mate regular, the nusince fish will attrcat the carp and they will bully them out. then the carp know theres grub there and will keep returning to the spots. and when they do introduce one or two boilies but only when you know the carp are feeding on the bait.

I thought that hemp provides nearly the full dietary requirement for carp therefore making it a great food source
I could be wrong though so would be happy to be corrected.
I know for sure that carp simply love it and in 2006 I used well over 200k of the stuff

Just had a chat with a mate and hemp does contain everything a carp needs to grow big and survive on apart from a few vitamins that they get from naturals.
So there you have it, hemp is a wonderful food supply for carp

Must agree with most of the posts so far on this. Hemp is brilliant especially when bulked out with cooked maize, partiblend or vitalin. I also love a good quality pellet as although they will break down they do leave an area giving off a strong food signal for long after. Including a handful of your chosen boilie will also help establish it. Use some whole and crumb others.Heavy baiting with nuts is not good for the carp but including some in your mix is just fine.
As an interesting aside, some years ago I was in a syndicate where the fishing was pretty easy until some bright spark decided to get an 'edge'. He baited up all winter with tigers in the expectation of really bagging up when fishing got underway properly in the spring. It turned out to be the worst season ever for not only him but the fishery as a whole.
