Default Mush Mix - Transferred

I need advice on ingredients for an ultimate mush mix for a french trip Its creeping up on me fast and the guy i'm fishing with hasn't had his rods out in years and he's trusting me with all the bait choices, not much pressure there then eh? Should I be goin down the liquid food road or adding tasty natural ingredients,I'm worried about adding too much stuff and spoiling the whole mix

I am a bit of a simple angler and just like to use Hemp as a background feed.
But if you want to get more adventurous, Parti blend, groundbait, fishmeal, pellets, corn, hemp, salmon oil.
Pritty much anything you want. Transporting it might be a bit difficult as i wouldnt want it left mixed for too long.

Are you after a spod mix then? If so keep it simple and cheap, hemp, maize, corn and pellets have done well for me with added chilli and ginger. I have never been to France but my mate has and he just used boilies and lots of pellet and did very well. I would advise you to contact the lake you are fishing and ask their advice before you go spending your money. It seems to me that lots of these lakes in france respond well to pellets so they will probably advise you to take pellet which are the easiest option anyway as no preparation is needed.

Have used ready prepared hemp/betaine/bloodworm from The Bait Company, comes in sealed bags and is easy to transport and needs no further preparation once there. Don't know size of water you're going to but this can be spodded or use your bait boat. Vitalin and a fishmeal groundbait not a bad option either.
Personally would take nothing but boilies, most anglers going to France fishing the commercial waters tend to fill the lake in with particles and pellet and baiting boilies only isn't the norm. Approach the water like you would back home. You are likely to be fishing for larger numbers of bigger fish which take some feeding, also if there are silver fish in the lake then the mush mix could quickly go.
Take a look at MB Baits site www.mbbaits.com , Mick will put a low level preservative in his bolies and they will be fresh all week kept in the shade in the back of a van, no freezer required, have used them over there myself. What you don't use bring back and freeze.
Have used krill/oyster mix in France to good effect.

I'm goin to Frenchcarpinguk's Brocard,Etang de la Fontaine aux Loups is 37 acres, strewn with lillies. The lake holds a good stock with fish from 20lb – 60lb. Lots of 30`s & 40`s.Mainline baits go well as do dynamite shelf lifes,I'm taking hemp to prepare on the bank cos I want to use the lake water, my mate always adds chilli, but I thought of adding belachan,I've got a few kgs of response pellets kickin about and I will get some trout pellets in various sizes. The mix is for spodding.
I've just ad news that one of the group may not be able to go,If anyone is interested in taking his place p.m me for details, only catch is you'd have to share a peg with me all week as its a double

With a stock of fish of that qty and size I wouldn't be shy with the boilies, get a few in front of you and 2-3 kilos will go in a flash.
Last trip on a similar sized water (40 acres or so) I used 35 kilos of 18mm's in a week and would have put more in if I could. Was getting fish around 80yds out from the 2nd day, baited around 2 kilos each morning and another 1 or 2 after each fish, catching steady right through the week. Fish were all good sized, other guys fishing pellet particle etc. had more low doubles and fewer twenties.
