Not heard of them being used before! Not sure how well they would stay on during a cast! But wouldn't do any harm giving them a try!

i was thinking the same thing
but maybe in a small bag with pellets or a bit of stick mix would help keep them on the hair.

im doing a couple of nights on my local runs water this weekend so i'll let you know how i get on

Who owns the shop? The man from 'Del Monte'.

I wouldn't have thought that they would be of great benefit to carp as they are mostly water and haven't got much substance to them for the carp to digest.

Can't understand much on that site. Makes my head hurt

Elderberry is a blast from the past bait for roach all depends on each idividual carp i suppose you may reduce your chances somewhat by targeting only vegitarian carp ..lol.
Seriously though i may give it a try as i am not a big boilie fan so i may give the odd grape a go i feel carp may pick the odd onw or two up off a baited area out of curiosity if nothing else.

Wink

tutti fruity ,strawberry and pineapple flavoured boilies they all catch fish so i wouldn't be surprised if grapes or grapes flavoured stuff caught fish
Always say you dont know in the fishing game it wasn't so long ago that if you had metioned that you were going to use pineapple flavoured bait you would have been mocked with something like
'Why not chuck in a few cherries as well and a can of custard'
Old saying dont knock anything until you have tried it! (and its failed)
What about gutsy on capes main caught on cherries under that tree at the end of the sandy bank opposite the hall near where that broken down chicken coop used to be years ago.

I think you will find that if you try anything that vaguely looks edible to a carp over a small bed of pellets on a runs water it will hoover it up.
