Shellfish B5 is a top quality bait, fact! Whether you choose to add the liquid dip and/or pellets is up to you matey.

Although it's a fishmeal base, it's also fine for the winter as I think after Sept or Oct (not sure!) Mike Wilmott winterises the boilie to make it suitable for the colder water.. Get on it, you wont go far wrong if you fish well.

b5 certainly
because i only had a tub of hookers glugged off a friend and i fished them single and we was getting runs after runs.
but all bait works in its own way

Coops baits are very good from what i have heard.

hi lads thanks for the replys,

as i said i am looking for a good bait that cats and carp will go for ,To fish on
a cat rod when i fish waters that hold them, I make my own baits for the carp wich i am happy with or my wife is as she seems to catch well on it
but i never had cats even sniff at them,
have done lots of studying catch reports, ect and found that the three baits
i said seemed to catch the most cats to, aswell as some realy good carp,
the only other flavor was pineapple boilies that seem to work on some waters ? but not with the consistancy of the active8, b5s or smoky mackeral
anyone had cats on these baits ether here or france ect,?
I know we are all carp guys but i do like a good scrap with a moggie from time to time,
