Anyone ever tried hummus as a stick mix? lol

My g/f just asked why dont I try it with chick peas on the hook lol

I've tried chick peas before and have caught on them. However, I found them (canned ones from Morrisons) to be quite a soft bait that didn't stand up well to casting.

Watch out if you try the chick pea/houmous combo though - you might just catch one of those imported foreign carp If you want to catch a true English fish, try hair rigging black pudding over a PVA bag of scrambled egg, beans and chopped mushrooms.

ive done really well on chick peas i used cook some of mine for a little then blend into a powder then add a bit of garlic powder and use a stick with 2 on the hair spaced out with shrink tube, hummus might be a bit wet for stick not sure.

a good method to use with chick peas that ive used in the past is throw two tins together with 10ml of salmon oil spod them out and there's your atraction put around 50 baits around it aswell there's your food and fish a small bag over it with a short hooklink 4-5 inchs and a long hair

wonder if cubed donar meet is good
any one tried it, although i suppose the fat levels are abit high for carp

i think the fat levels are to high for humans unless blitsted in chilli and after a dozen lagers,thats the only time i can wallop 1 honest but its a bad on the big white telephone upstairs the next day
