Hi lads just bought a load of bait making equipment off ebay lots of different size tables gardener deluxe sausage gun plus loads of flavours.mananged to knock up about a kilo of my own recipe from a 50/50 ritchworth gold base mix but it took me ages as i have never mixed but was made up the way they come out in the end,but seemed to be struggling finding the correct size nozzle for the table also on the big tables i was wondering how many strips of sausages to use to best effect some of the boilies would be perfect while others would just drag across the table and not roll very well just after some general tips to make the job easier, looking forward to trying out the ones i have mixed

hi mate, the nozzle problem is just something you have to doctor yourself, when gardener make the nozzles they are never the correct size. The best advice i can give is to cut them back with a sharp stanley knife a little at a time and just keep testing it on the table, or you can rub it back with some coarse emery paper.
hope this hel;ps mate

Bit of oil like Deano says worked for me, or salmon oil in the mix.
50/50 mixes aren't usually too bad, mistake I always made at first was not putting enough pressure on the table. |
