Question AABAITS - Warrington

Hello All,

Been told about a compnay in warrington who supply bait.
Having had a look at the wet site, http://www.aabaits.co.uk, it looks like a great asset to have on my door step.

Anyone have any dealing with then and how to the prices compare with other companies? The great thing for me would be no postage but what do you all think?

Bep....Beeep, hit it!!

looks ok to me mate ,cheap to .
tbh i think you would be hard pushed to buy rubbish bait nowdays just down to bait company competition . i would have thought crap bait companies would just fold from not selling anything

ive emailed them myself see what they can do for me

Certainly cheap enough matey, especially if you want to roll your own. Is that a good thing or a bad thing I ask myself? Could be worth getting a couple of Kg and giving them a go. I'd have a little play with their seed mix or HNV fishmeal, just add a bit of flavour and/or something like multimino etc, be a good instant and long term bait to play with for the new season maybe...

and there in lies the key

long term !!!!

dont bother with attractor baits mate .you want a long term food source.

ive been using a simple birdfood base for around 10 years now still works great but im gonna change it and start something new this year

it dosent have to be this years wonderbait to catch

Yup. The bait can be 'tweaked' either way, short term or long term appeal (as can a lot of baits). Depends what 1927 wants from his boilies

Can't argue with the prices and, living in Haydock, they're on my doorstep also.

Some of the products are very much like cc moore in name and appearance!. See what a few mates who will defintely know more than me about 'aa' have to say.

Great stuff thanks for your thoughts. From what I understand CC Moore one of his suppler so you know what to expect.

As for a good base mix and getting something of GNV that carp will keep coming back to that's my next Question. I've started rolling very recently and started off with a 30/30/30 mix of soya/semi/meat meal with some extra blood powder. This I found very easy to roll and got me into the idea of moving on to a GNV bait.

Can any of you suggest a GNV mix that will compliment nutrabaits trigger flavour over the top? Ideally using up the soya/semi/meat meal I have left.

Am always dubious with new bait companies and prefer to stick with a proven one that has a good record, don't just buy because it's cheap as there's generally a reason why this is the case.

Looks ok though but pricewise no better than most others. Would find out a bit more, am sure they'll let you know where it's doing the business and who is using it.

I'm not really a boilie user so it was more the pellet and liquids I was interested in.

Got a few bits and pieces from AA today - alot of it is the same pellet as CC Moores supply (and the Halibuts are the same as GP supply - can't remember the manufacturer). So the quality can't be brought into question. And it's less than 5 mins from home/work for me.

Not bad at all to have a convenient option like that close to home.

I have been using stuff form AA baits for a while now it's all good gear and good value for the money.
