Default squid flavour!
after some good results on little sweeties over the years i am after a good squid flavour to make some savoury treats but dont really want to pay £15 for the solar stuff any ideas?

C'mon, you pays your money and makes your choice

Solar S&Q...dont knock it, best attractor there is, IMHO, I've used excluseveley in my bait for 5 years, OK at £17 odd for 100 mls relativeley expensive, BUT, use it at 1.5 mls in 6 eggs, NOT the recommended level I know, but I treat my bait a a long term food source and use it as such, baiting up etc and lower flavour/attractor levels are more effective in this respect, rather than over loading.

Hook bait savourys... a 1 egg mix with 10mls of S&Q...a hooker without a rival......ANYWHERE (you cant OD a bait with Solar S&Q its PH prevents it, BUT ONLY FOR THE HOOK BAIT), whatever you do, dont try to achieve the same effect by using 10 mls in a 6 egg mix

carp company squid epa or rod hutchinson squid & octopus theres some on fleabay mate.9.99 100ml.type in rod hutchinson flavour.

There aren't many things in liquid form that I can justify £17 per 100ml for,but Solars SnO is one of them.Forget the others,they're rola cola by comparison...

Coupled up with some selfish sense appeal and N Butyric is at the right levels is IMO as good as it gets confidence wise,leaving other things to worry about when wangling,like making sure the buzz bars are both perfectly straight...

you know all about liquids ollie... how many you had tonight

Them rods have got to be bob on or you will never catch...heaven forbid...some people would have kittens if they come with me on a short sesh....I dont even use rod rests

My liquid intake isn't measured in mils matey,lets put it that way...

They don't call me Noliver Reed fer nothin

Not only have the rods GOT to be spirit level accurate,but also kitted out with Matrix's finest dinky offerings,Free Spirit rods ('k me I wish spirits were free...) and Nev'd up with a lightweight long chuck big spit reel to boot,anything else just isn't cricket.....

ive used 2 bottles of the stuff since i posted that cheers for the speedy reply lads! but just to confirm there is no substitute for solar squid and ollie i like the mix you mentioned you couldnt be a gent could you and pm me flavour levels for it!
