Spodding restrictions on redesmere

Anyone else heard anything about this? Apparently the bailiffs are advising people about spodding ie. not to spod ridiculous quantities of bait. Sounds like a good idea to me, too much bait going in that isn't being eaten

Just about to say the same ....it would need to be a case of all or nothing....It is fair to say that at least we all know the particles have to be cooked, nowadays...in the 1980's anglers were piling in uncooked pulses and nuts....with some v. negative consequences...even fish kills. Eventually the furore cooled down. The beauty of carp fishing is that methods burn out and blow at a speed relative to the intensity that it is employed and on that basis will naturally fall by the wayside reasonably quickly. In all probability the majority of Redesmere stock will be avoiding huge (and not so huge) beds of feed already!
