i'd been using jaco pop's gluged on one rod for a few sessions on my local, then one day i just did'nt bother it was as simple as that pal, the results told me the glug may have been marginaly repelant to some fish, i'd had a few on the gluged bait but they were small, few and far between, the un-gluged just seem to rock and roll pal, fish after fish, so that were it no more glug

not a fan of pop ups myself but as the majority, i carry a tub of Pineapple and N-Buteryic dunno why as never caught on them but hey..... always a first time

same as you there chesh pal, i'm not a pop up man normaly, i'v used em the odd time but it's mainly bottoms i fish., i like em in conjunction with a bottom though!, a nice snow man oh yes, or boyent plastic corn as a topper
