Are they in a tank or a pond?
I have some miniture minters in a tank and be warned-feeding them your fishing pellets/boilies will seriously mess your tank up as the fish ***** it all back out semi solid and it goes rotten, every now and then in moderation is ok but I fed them pellets constantly and nearly killed the poor things due to the water quality becoming really bad.
Stick to good old fish food from the pet shop if keeping them in a tank.

If they are in a pond the floating sticks are better as you can moniter whats being eaten/not eaten whereas sinking baits could sit uneaten on the bottom again going rotten and causing problems.

if they are in a tank pal make sure you have got good filtration, keep an eye on the nitrite and amonia levels, these will rocket if there's to much grub going in and like nev says the pet shop foods a good un, but it won't harm to chuck in a few small pellets every now and then

use high quality high protein koi pellets, if these fish are in the house. As they will grow fast and the nitrates amonia levels will stay low also these will not upset the ph level. But u need to make sre there high quality other wise u will need to do water changes every other day.
