Question How much?

Whats the heaviest you have ever baited up with either particles or boilies and caught? I know this will be venue and stock dependant but I just thought it would be interesting to see how we have all baited up in the past and caught.
The heaviest I have baited up with particles was at the monument when i caught my 40....about 2 or 3 kilo, which i think is a lot of particles...as for boilies about 200 15mm is my max and that was in march...but I still caught

The most i've used in a session is 20 kilos of particles and a few kg's of boilies at morton last year and that was in a day! But normally i just use a few handfulls here and there.

20kg in a day? blimey !!

i didnt even get through that in France a few years ago

depending on the water ui am fishing i could probably get through a max of 6-7kilo of particle a session (i do take to some waters 10kilo of particle and 5kilo boilie)

but as i say it depends on what water i am going to !

i was using 5k of hemp and around 300 boilies for overnighters on the weaver a few years ago, never used anywhere near that much on the lakes though, i tend to just fish for them one at a time with small amounts of bait

Its all depends on the water really doesn't it. I normally take a 4 egg mix of boilies for a 24hour sesh, so thats probably 1 1/2 kilo (ish) in real money.

Particles, normally a couple of dynamite tubs of hemp/partiblend etc to start with. Im not one for filling a place in with bait, mainly because i cant afford it half the time!

Yes 20k in a day.

Used it at morton and was spodding every hour or after every fish that i caught. They were going mental so i just kept putting more and more in. I was getting takes as i was spodding so they must like a bit of grub in there!

That's some pretty impressive spodding Steve.

Did you expect a productive days fishin' to actually take 20k of bait in the first place?

I once targeted a lake and baited for 3 months every 2 days with 10 kilos every trip. Chosen bait was a mix of sweetcorn and maple peas with 1/2 a kilo of boilies. For the first 3 months baiting I never fished the place but when I did my fisrt day on there I caught straight away and continued to catch every trip doing only 3-4 hour sessions. The lake in question was 6 acres and was lightly stocked. I managed to catch all those fish on my own terms through baiting and didnt have to find them or chase them all over the place.

Roughly 450 kilo, That's a 'lorra lorra' bait!
