Default Flavouring Trout pellets

Guys
I can pick up some trout pellets fairly cheap and want to flavour them with the same flavour as the boilies I'm using.
therefore would you add the actual boilie flavour to the pellets that you would use if making your own baits or soak them in the the equivalent boilie dip/glug?

i think the answer depends on how much you are goign to flavour them.. bearing in mind that trout pellets when wet will start to break down and turn to paste etc.. would be wary of over flavouring them too matey...

just out of interest what flavour are you using? and ask yourself the question.. is it really going to mak emuch of a difference.

also.. whilst on the subject.. please ensure your gettin decent pellets.. i sometimes cringe at the thought of people buying "cheap" bait.. obviously its bulk buying or it wouldnt actually work out that cheap.. by all means drop me a line matey (pm) if you need any other advise

If your looking to flavour or colour pellets you would be better going for coarse/Carp Pellets (Trout pellets wont take the flavour on as well and will not dry properly after you get them wet due to the oil content pushing the water or flavour out, it will remain on the surface and is more likely to mold). Mix your chosen flavour with a liquid colour and spray them with a mist bottle to avoid over soaking the pellets. Then let them absorb the flavour and dry out before re bagging them. If you do not wish to colour them mix your flavour with 50% water and 50% Glycerine and follow the same as above. It is important to let them dry out as moisture is the main cause of mold and bacteria.
