Yup, worms for me also, assuming I can get out of the house to do a bit at some point.

May also revert back to an old natural bait that has caught me a lot of fish over the years, but I’d best keep tight-lipped for the moment – until Big Ted nails the TP big common on them, that is

I like experiment with my baits in springtime as I feel it's one of the best times to do so. The fish are fresh from the winter and are on the feed, and provided the venue hasn't been nailed by every angler and his dog, chances are that they will sample just about anything... in the right situation of course!

And then there's the joy of the warmer months and the fish reall starting to get going on the surface... ahhh not long now...

Think i'll be using mostly boilies this year, mainly the nutrabaits big fish mix with a few added extras thrown in to it.

Also might try out maggots on the hair on the top pool for mainly stalking.

Tried the proactiv Pineapple most of this winter on easier venue's and its outfished evrything but my old 10mm nash whiskeys. I shall be using the pro pineapple on 'one off' sessions in the future (for now )

Shall be going down Linch in a couple of weeks, first trip of the year down there,if its anything like last march and april shall have at least 2 rods maybe 3 fished on zigs ,on a tiny piece of black foam or cork,i would say 95% of the fish were caught on zigs upto mid april, the only fish that came out off the bottom were from swims with shallower areas in them.
