Default Help!

i have been rolling my own bait for a few months now. but as i was warned it is taking up a considerable amount of time and tbh im not properly kitted out ie. manual gun, mixing by hand.

ive got probably 20kg of base mix sat in the garage with all the liquids and flavours ready to be rolled. i just want it rolled and to get out fishing.

is there anyone out there who can offer their services to roll my bait for me at a reasonable price.?

cheers Jack.

Rolling isn't the only option young scruffy hair.

12 egg mix with ratio'd attractors and base mix, then 'brick' it (ie form it into a block) and bang it in the oven for ten to fifteen minutes. Once 'baked' chop it into cubes of desired size and save some time rolling and boiling.

Just don't do it on a sunday morning before mum puts the roast in, you'll be as popular as a comb in your bedroom if you do....

Steady fella, the night is young and the bottle is still full...(for a few minutes anyway)

Big fat Bill Cottam used to do this a lot in the nineties to make 'alternative' baits, the outer 'crust' will offer a skinned firmer bait (ideal for the hair) whereas the innermost softer stuff will release the attractors quicker akin to a paste bait. And cos they're cubed you'll be being all 'different' and be able to don the 'verrrrrrrrry craffffffftyyyyyy' badge. And fish sloping banks and down the side of gravel bars....

Rolling is a pain mate but as you know it saves some dough. The aquisition of a Gardner Delux XT gun could make things easier for your arms, I am doing 12 eggs from start to complete finish(including wash up) in about 1hr 20mins. Just a couple of 1hr sessions and I have enough bait for the week, its a good week if you can get through nearly 4kg in my book, mind you this is small change to the heavy baiters

I remember last february myself and smokey rolled 20kg of NRG base mix in 2 nights!
My right forearm was double that of the left after that manual gun! (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.....nothing to do with being single at the time)
You just need to get a system going!
Preparation is key!

Having a smoke before hand doesn't help either, contrary to what smokey thought!
