Default pellets

how long will pellets last in a sealed bag. got some that are 2 years old are they safe to use or shall i bin them.

depends on how they have been kept if you are planning on keeping pellets for a long time you should realy freez them this stops them from going rancid (going off) if they have been kept cool they should be ok they minght smell ok but they could be off. best to be on the safe side and bin them rather than take the chance.

been kept in a cool place and just opened a bag and to be honest they smell as fresh as if i bought them yesterday.

they should be ok then but most pellets will smell fresh even if they are off

They should be fine to use, however nutritionally any vitamins they contained would have dissapeared,but as they smell fine they won't hurt any fish if you do use them.....
