still looking for some way to mix up the base mix and eggs though still doing that by hand .. any suggestions ????

This review is based on a brief production run using the new Slikks Boilie Rollers.

Over many years I have used the excellent shillam rollers which are no longer in production, it ceased in 2003,which have left a gap in the market making the second hand shillam’s highly sought after until now!

Enter The Slikks Boilie Rollers!

The guy behind these babies is Steve Grace, they are made out of solid CNC machined 12mm laminate and come in three width sizes 540mm, 750mm, 900mm and all are 400mm deep and roll the most perfect round boilies in 10-20mm.

Steve has also made an ingenious quick release frame system made out of metal epoxy coated box section that once you buy your initial frame system you interchange the different size tables.

The idea behind making heavy-duty laminate rollers is longevity and higher production, which these rollers do and easily justify the cost in how long they will last. There are also 1.5mm/1.25mm stronger ribs on the Slikks to alleviate the chipping problem common with the thinner ribbed shillam’s.

You can buy much lighter and cheaper plastic rollers but they break easily, hence will need replacing often, but are lighter but I think that is a disadvantage, the heavier Slikks laminate makes it much easier to cut the sausages without having to push the table to the floor!

Having moved from my Shillam rollers to the Slikks they are better in every way, ingenious frame system, stronger ribs and three sizes to suit all budgets,I have a set of 900mm and my production has almost doubled making it especially easier for carp anglers to minimise the time rolling there own bait and recipe’s with exclusive edges.

Steve also plans to make some 16mm laminate tables in sizes 22-28mm in the very near future.

If you are in the market for some high quality rollers that will last indefinitely if looked after, give Steve a call on 07902316996 and mention carpy.co.uk for the best possible deal.

Below are some pictures of the Slikks Boilie Rollers, The Rolls Royce of rollers! Rating 10/10.
