Dont soak them in oil, as they absorb it and become bigger, and softer. I found out the hard way and wasted half of mine

dont enterprise do flavoured fake corn anyway? tutti frutti?

i wouldnt want to flavour my own.. that said i have soaked them in betaine before (real maize that is)

But, I suppose if you do want to 'personalise' them a bit I'd soak them in a bit of sweetener or something..

i can see the idea behind flavouring corn.. yet flavouring our plastic friends? hhhmmm would it not be an idea to maybe use a piece of yellow rig foam instead? coupled with maybe a grain or two of the real stuff? just a suggestion as i am unsure of the actual amount of flavour the platic material can take onboard

i would use them straight out of the packet and wouldnt worry to much about soaking them....youd be suprised at actually how much the plastic gives of in its own right...is this one of the reasons its so successful?

Enterprise do a Tutti flavoured one, and I think they do some that come in a little pot of soak? Sure i've seen them on a shelf somewhere...

Surprisingly the plastic corn does actually take on flavour quite well.
Ive messed about with it in the past.
You can use any flavour really, just use what your confident with.
