Think i'm gonna have a do with that "The Cell" from mainline when it hits the shops, it's supposed to be some kind of protein based bait, what do you people think ?

" The Cell is neither milk protein, fishmeal or birdfood. In fact The Cell is not your normal everyday carp bait. It is designed to provide a protein source that is easier for carp to convert than fishmeals and birdfoods, provoking a sustained feeding response in all water temperatures.

Actively field tested over a two year period with truly outstanding results, from a company you can trust. The Cell is now ready to take carp bait technology to a new level. "

IT WILL UNDOUBTEDLY SELL WELL.

depending on the venue if its a runs water i wouldnt bother because the chances are that you probably wouldnt get on the same swim.
if its a water thats got a thew carp in it and other fish like bream and nusience fish i would fish mainly boilie. and pick a thew places you have seen carp feeding or they have been visiting prefarbley a place you are likely to be able to get on time and time again thats why i say a thew places if just fishing boilie is a bit expensive you could try the baiting prymid like baiting with boilie and particle this worked well for me last year on my syndicate you get everything feeding at once its a good way of geting activite in the swim. the carp come in to investigate find your boilie and mix and come to notice it more readily.

things to consider when baiting.
1. how many fish does the lake hold, andhow big it is.
2. how much bird life is there (will they see the bait before the carp probably)
3. how far is it from home.
