well said that man (i think incog) why use 3 boilies.. use one

i only use one boilie for the vast majority of my work..

PGB Choc Orange - 90% of my work is with this

other than that.. HBS Indian Spice pop ups...

MMmm

I'm noticing quite a few people are saying just use one kind of bait and stick with it. I find this really confusing as i have rock solid personal experience that changing to a different boilie has worked wonders for me.

Example, Last year i was at a place i fished quite regularly and baited up my swim with my usual PVA bagged pellet and maple 8 on the rig. result= the odd fish. Then i changed the hook bait to a white chocolate and fished it in exactly the same way and place, Result= a run every thirty minutes ! i was so busy i ended up removing said bait and putting the maple 8 back on just so's i could get some sleep i was that knackered and the runs dropped off again, later i put the white choc back on, and not long after.... reels are screeming again. so seen as i'm a begginner in comparison to you it confuses me when people say stick to one type.

Different baits work better on different waters

Also depends on what bait others are putting in. For me tho, just a good quality bait and a pop-up for when things get tough (the pop-ups are out alot for me )

people are giving there opinion to what bait they use and yes if you are on a water that you are continuously fishing sticking to the one bait is the best way espesialy if its a food bait if you are visiting a water for the first time you are wright to chop and change till you find a bait that works fruity baits or as you sugested chocolate white baits are visable and will get you runs but not continuously were as food baits minght start off slow but as you fish the water more and keep introducing it you will out catch the hi viz fruit flavors or chocolate flavors carp need nutrison just like us we wouldnt eat sweets all the time and no savory food baits have more nutrision than hi viz and fruity baits but if you are just starting on a water or just fliting around i would defianetly have a hi viz on one rod or fruity bait but not for long term campaigns. hope this helps clear all the sugestions up

pick a good bait, freezer not shelf life, ones i can recommend are, shellfish b5,any of the premier range.get yourself a few sacks of particles, hemp and maize are good 1s so are tares, pick your water, pick your spots, margins are a good place to start, bait up with your particles, around 2-3kg plus 2kg of boilies, keep doing it 3 times a week if you can for a couple of weeks, then go fish!

2. Whatever.
3. Two baits only if three rods are allowed, otherwise, see 1.

nb. soon to be using U.C.N. ENZYME.
