Me and my friend used to fish a water with a 55 yard chuck to some big overhanging trees on the far bank. When the cast went well and tickled the trees on the way in the phrase "well, that's a fish" would sometimes be uttered

Matt
This one gets me

I heard Chris Knapper say it once in a thread, does it refer to someone who is lazy cooking wise and only eats pot noodles on the bank, or is it just a terminology like 'noddy' and just means that they are a noddy???

Cheers

Pot Noodle Angler is born from the expression 'just add water' and is just another term for an instant angler.

It has nothing to do with lazy cuisine
