method feeder... hhhmmm.. simple answer.. thread method feeder onto line, mould groundbait around it and cast out! obviously with a hook etc..

thats the simple way, the more in depth you go.. you would probably need some kind of leader or lead core leader to act as a shock absorber, these methods can get quite heavy, ensure you got a grounbait mix that is stiff enough to bind to the feeder and not explode in mid air.. too many particle bits will cause the groundbait to fall off upon the pressure of the cast... theres a good article in last months craft carper i think, two guys doing a session at my old stamping ground Larford in Worcestershire (gutted they split the lake into 3 ) have a look at that if you can as it gives you a good idea of how to fish a method feeder

You don't really need tubing Junior Monkey, bury your hooklink in the method mix as you mould it around the feeder and there is no danger of a tangle

try fishing it like a chod rig. replace the lead with the feeder and use a soft mono or braid for your hook link, the hook link is not fixed but will stay with the feeder due to your hook bait being buryed in your mix. you could use a small bead or heavy putty above the swivel to keep the bolt rig affect but if you get broke off the hook is not still fixed to the lead.
