Mmmmmmmm, tickling sticks.

7 showers a day eh Black, what about this then?? After every trip i take the reels off the rods, clean the reels with a paintbrush and soapy water. The rods get wiped down then Mr Sheened, i Mr Sheen my Delkims, clean my stainless in warm soapy water, clean my ground sheet-even underneath, i tell you mate, im proper obsessed!!
I think ive got far too much time on my hands.......lol

I actually dont mind being like this when im fishing mate, if im not busy doing carp type things, i can always get the cleaning kit out....ha.

Oh, and Blacky. That picture on the Alsager Mere, which one is the dog??

FPMSL! the only time i've put water near my rods/buzzers is when i've "blessed" them before i tuck myself up in bed for some kip. When i say blessed i mean tinkle on them. Strange but true. A few years ago me and a few mates were fishing a local big tough water and were having a social and generally just having a bit of a laugh. anyway me mate was giving me some grief over some bird or something so after he went to bed i proceeded to give his set up a golden shower. Well, you've guessed it people. first thing in the morning it rips off and gives him and our first fish off the water. Since then, when the going gets tough i resort to the old blessing to get a fish on the bank!

Idon't think i've ever cleaned my bivvy. what a scroat i am! I grow fond of the various smells and creatures that have or infact still inhabit there. It would be rude to turf them out.

The dog is on the right of the bedchair. I become the dog on a sat night in gregs night come. ring-a-ding-ding the youngest swinger in town

Jesus christ Blacky, ive just spat me hot tea all over me laptop screen............
That does sound like a bit of a weird ritual mate, blessing your rods, all i no is if you blessed my rods, id have to introduce you to the mallet which i oh so delicatley whack my pegs in with......lol

Especially as ive just taken delivery of the very desirable magnesium techniums. After using them the other week, im considering adding a touch of fabric softener to the warm water when i wash them, got to treat em right eh??

Anyway im off now, got 2 more showers to have for the day before i catch your mate up.........p1sser.

The following is the new clothing from trakker for the more houseproud angler. I think that would be a good prize for the U.N.O. Iain in this outfit spending the weekend clearing up for the lucky winner
pmsfl.. Iain go on speak to the guys at trakker and see if you get ur trakker buddies to put a pic in the comics with you wearing a maids outfit hahaha for the OCD carper in your life.. a tickling stick in your rucksack is what you need...

Heres a good one for you boys, in the colder months when you get your head down put a dry pair of socks on. You feet will sweat through the day and as the sweat cools down you feet will become cold through the night. This is a tip my mate gave me years ago and trust me it makes a difference
