Choose 2 simple rigs and stick with them.
1.Simple Hair Rig Either Mono/Floro/Coated Braid - covers most situatuions a beginer would encounter and can be used for pop ups with added shot / putty

2. Short Braid Rig - For PVA Pags

As a beginer these 2 rigs should be ample for most fishing, allowing you to concentrate on the most important skill - watercraft.

Choose 1 all season Boilie and stick with it.
Although I sometimes struggle with this!!!!!!

If you get an edge/been prebaiting/spotted fish/had fish keep it under your hat. You've got nowt to gain and much to lose otherwise.

I once read an interview a few years ago on yourself mate and it was said by the interviewer that it was "the most organised and tidy set up he'd seen from the rods to the bivvy." That's probably were i'm going wrong. my pitch resembles a gypo camp after a king of the pikeys fight.

Now-now, you know what rumours are like.....

It is true though, i am a very organised angler. Everything is spotless, in it's place, even down to the baiting needles!! I think they call it OCD. All i know Blacky is that it works for me, i'm the same at home, everything is in its place and tip top, i've been like it for as long as i can remember!!
But thats not to say it is the be all and end all, i know anglers who consistantly catch a lot of big fish, yet they are complete Pikeys!! Gaz, one of the lads on Welly, turns up to his chosen swim, kicks his barrow over, picks up his bag and empties it all over the floor, he then procedes to erect his bivvy over the top of all the ****, and thats where it all stays for the weekend. But boy does he catch some carp.
I should start doing a bivvy service (ahem), a sort of spring clean so to speak, from what ive seen, id make a bloody fortune.

My mates got OCD. he sometimes has up to seven showers a day!lol straight up.
The following is the new clothing from trakker for the more houseproud angler. I think that would be a good prize for the U.N.O. Iain in this outfit spending the weekend clearing up for the lucky winner
