Default After you land a fish

Once you have safely unhooked weighed and taken a quick photo, what are your procedures for putting the fish back in the water do you get in with it if its a big specimin or what?

Cheers Guys

Get in the drink regardless of size and swim it out to where you hooked it from, then let it go.

Anything less is just poor angling in my opinion.

lol

So long as where your returning the fish has sufficient depth of water for the fish to be fully up right, it's fine. Once in the water, make sure the fish isn't rolling onto it' side etc, hold the wrist of it's tail to steady it for as long as it takes then wait for the fish to swim off on its own

you'll just get the feel for it Rainey, Once in the water the fish will begin to recover and usually slowly start to waddle slowly then swim off....

Or Bolt & give you a good Soaking!
