Where do I start pmsl
This cover nearly everything
Don’t cast over other peoples lines – if someone did this to me I would break there legs
If someone is fishing near you then ask them where they have there lines and avoid the areas this persons fishing
Turn your alarms on with the volume down so they don’t even bleep there’s nothing worse than someone that bleeps there alarms all night or day
Once your rods are out don’t go reeling them in all the time, get you’re rods out get the bait out and sit back.
I personally like to use 11 meaning the only time I reel the rods in if I have not had a fish is 11am then I re-bait and recast until 11am the next morning fish depending, the only other reason I would move a rod is to cast to showing fish ect, but if I was confident in the area I was all rods will stay put. 24 hours at a time.
Bait boats – This is a touchy subject as they are good don’t get me wrong and they do catch fish, Personally I would not use one, I have used them in the past but I now hate them and it annoys me when I see people using them.
Casting close to snags, pads ect
Don’t do this unless you have the experience, playing fish near to pads or snags requires a certain skill when fishing near pads you must be on top of your rods at all times and try to keep the fish out of the no go area to avoid loosing the fish or even worse damaging the fish.
Don’t use a mallet to put pegs or bank sticks in as this is annoying and could easily spook the carp from the area you are fishing
Don’t go shining torches all over the lake just use lights torches ect when needed.
Never Never leave any rubbish
Use your common sense all the time most things are just basic but just think of the safety of the carp and consider other anglers at all times and you can’t really go wrong.
The sport is to be enjoyed and if you do it respectably you will enjoy it much more.
