Thumbs up Catch them young

In my work I run a young peoples charity that does activitites for young people one of the things we do is fishing (obviously ) Also I have 3 kids and make sure my two boys go fishing to learn the "art" from a young age, Michael (my oldest) caught this fish while out with his Grandad yesterday, whopping Common Carp on 4lb line and red maggot (crazy), he has also had chub to over 4lb and many other captures...

Young people are the future of angling, it would be good to hear other similar stories or feature young peoples fishing activities on here...

i am asssisting in a massive police campaign in the summer holidays, throughout cheshire (crewe, congleton, Macc etc..) and that is gettin kids off the street and into angling... lakemore, gawsworth, winterley, border, to name a whole host of angling lakes have given their lakes FOC to the kids of the commuities.. i cant wait!!! teaching kids that crime doesnt pay.. no matter how big or small... and that being at one with nature and socialising with friends who share the same interest is the way forward!!
