hi bet one of my faverite small tank set ups i have had was platies they have loads of coulers and are intresting as thay give birth to live young , thay need slitly alcoline water to breed them best , but its easy to do and you can have live plants with them and realy make a stuning setup, and fairly trouble free,
if you want somthing a bit more of a challange then go for a red tailed shark, and some kind of barbs like tiger ,or cherry , and some loches like botia or choli, for this set up wich is a asian biotope , there are some realy nice plants that grow on bogwood and you can have as mutch fun collecting the
different plants to finish the disply,
