There's an article in one of the publications from the last month or so about breeding carp, albeit on a more commercial scale.

Not for the purist I suppose, but this strain has a very slow growth rate and unlike F1's are fertile. From what I remember they're being bred on site of a commercial... The philosophy is that they won't have to net them so often when they get too big. You may be able to get a couple of them??? If you're interested I'll have a trawl through them for you and try and get some contact details?
