For the record I have never rowed baits out!! and am quite angry to be accused of such
The only time I have been out in the boat was during work parties removing weed and to retrieve Victor rip!
I suggest before you start rumours flying that you get your facts straight.
I assumed you were new as I've never seen you fishing there before,I try to keep myself to myself on there and dont like to disturb others when i'm fishing.
When I turn up at Top Pool I look for the fish before I choose a swim, there were fish in and out the pads throughout the day and if they had moved to another area I would have moved with them. Or am I meant to avoid the alders,point at all costs now incase I get grief for fishing someone elses swim??
I've travelled there to trickle bait in before and left with it because there were other anglers fishing.
At the end of the day its a small lake that stirs up alot of passion in all that fish it, if all the members showed courtesy to each other it would be an even nicer place to fish.
Would it have done you any harm to ask me where I was fishing to and if I minded you putting any bait in...............I think not.
