You can do what you like with bait as long as they like whats going in.Afterall how many people fish banana boilies over chilli hemp and sweetcorn or fishy fishmeals over trout pellets...all different tastes and flavours but all proven carp catchers
PS dont buy the ready rolled Quest baits they are good but boy are they expensive be a skin flint like me and buy their base mix and roll your own....been having quite a few on their gear over the last 12 months...
