24 to 31 May threw up a number of good fish to the 4 anglers on the lake. Heavy rain early in the week slowed things for a day or two but the fish soon switched on once the mild settled weather returned.
Total for the week was 35 fish with 4 fifties, 8 forties and 11 thirties.
Martin Salter started in swim 12 to take a couple of fish and then moved to swim 4 and finished the week with fish of 33lbs, 42lbs, 39.12lbs, 52lbs and 57lbs. Margin fished corn and pellets producing the goods as Martin beat his pb a number of times.
Tim Harris fished swims 3, 5 and 11. He took 6 fish with 2 forties. He had a pb mirror of 46lbs and a pb common of 42.8lbs.
Mike Robinson alternated around swims 11, 9, 6 and 7. He banked 11 fish topped with a 55.2lbs mirror along with 2 forties to 49lbs and 5 thirties to 35.8lbs.
Jamie Cook managed the most fish with 13. He fished from swims 4 and 7. Best fish for Jamie weighed in at 52.6lbs. He also had 3 forties including a 41.6lbs common. More pb’s for Jamie. Once again close range tactics with corn and pellets at catapult range getting the Millstone fish feeding with confidence.
