Mate of mine lost a fish on a tree stump last year in France. When he waded out the 120 or so yards to retrive his end tackle (as he didnt want 100+ yards of line in the swim), there were 2 carp tethered to the stump plus 50 (yes 50) or so rigs, leads, leaders, tubing etc.

Just goes to show the importance of safe rigs and lead ejection.
