Bowden hall pool just off the Chapel bypass has a few nice ones but rumour has it that they were stolen a couple of years back how true it is that they are still there or gone i dont know like i said it's just a rumour.
Seriously though i think either
Teggs nose or
Disley Dam are your best bets within 10 miles or so around Buxton give or take a couple of miles Unless of course you are after a real lunker then you will have to join a club SOTAS would give you Capesthorn main pool , Top Pool and Redesmere all about 16 or 17 miles from Buxton Prince albert have some good waters but due to their publicity ban none can be mentioned on here however you will have to travel a bit further than Pavilion gardens to get amongst them
