My God how bad was the weather
its the worst i have ever fished in, think i'm going rusty
Cherpont suffered with the weather with both ends off the lake producing 80% off the fish and the anglers who were in the middle struggling and just picking up the odd fish here and there.
Yours truly had positioned himself smack bang in the middle off the lake in a swim I know well and thought it was a banker, just shows how wrong you can be.
Anyway I caught 3 fish with the largest weighing in at 36-8. You might think that I am disappointed with this but not so, I had a nice time especially as my mate came along to keep me company which was a total surprise as he had kept it quiet till i met him down there on the Friday
We tried everything we knew to catch but the fish were just not there
you can only deal with the cards you are dealt eh lads.
Look forward to going back in September
