EARLY BIRDS IN LINE FOR £60K OF FREE GOODIES

TCF (Total Coarse Fishing) Showcase, the Midlands’ all-new angling event, is offering an amazing 1,500 goody bags worth around £60 each to customers who turn up early.

The first 500 paying customers through the doors each day will receive a bag packed with angling goodies including DVDs, line, magazines, terminal tackle, bait samples, stickers and discount vouchers for day tickets. It’s a massive giveaway worth a total of £60,000. And that’s not all. Hidden in one of those bags will be the ‘Trabucco Golden Ticket’ that will win its lucky owner a fantastic, £700 Trabucco carbon pole.

The exciting new fishing event, at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, will run from 25 to 27 April, 2008, from 10am to 4pm each day, and feature TV’s top angling celebrities, such as Bob James, John Bailey and John Wilson.

Organised by one of Europe’s biggest angling publishers, DHP Ltd, the show has been designed as a great day out for the whole family with something for everyone.

Accompanied under-16s get free admission and will be entitled to complimentary fishing tuition from the Professional Angling Association and national charity, Get Hooked on Fishing. There will also be lots of hands-on, angling-based games and events to keep children entertained.

Top fishing brands will be there so visitors can see, touch and try next season’s products before they are launched through local tackle dealers.

Editor of Total Coarse Fishing magazine, Gareth Purnell, said the event would be the first real angling showcase for years.

“Too many shows in recent years have become little more than glorified car boot sales,” he said. “TCF Showcase isn’t going to be like that, it’s not about selling cheap, it’s about seeing the very latest fishing tackle from the top manufacturers. There’s a load to do and win, plus the chance to shake hands with the stars of angling.”

Admission to TCF Showcase is free for accompanied under-16s with all other tickets priced at £8 in advance, or £10 on the day, with free parking available.
