Stunning Linear for Phil Wain

Phil Wain’s Top Pool season continues apace after banking this stunning linear at 23lb. After a very quiet night fishing the point swim, Phil was up with the dawn chorus and off round the lake looking for feeding fish.

Phil later found a shoal of big carp and dropped a single hookbait just off to one side from the group. Shortly afterwards the fish started to split up and spread out into a larger area and a few came right over Phil’s bait. Phil watched as one fish dropped down and seconds later he was doing battle with another Top Pool specimen!
