Carpin' On - The Carp Show 2007 is almost upon us!
The 2007 Carp Show takes place on Saturday 3rd and 4th March 2007 at the Five Lakes Hotel & Country Club, near Colchester, Essex.
Visitors will get a chance to meet some of the top names including TV star John Wilson, Terry Hearn, legendary Rod Hutchinson, Steve Briggs, Korda boss Danny Fairbrass, Tim Paisley, Simon Crow, Ian Chillcott, Lee Jackson, Rob Maylin, Ali Hamidi, Chris Ball, and many, many more
And, of course, the place will be packed with loads of tackle stands from the likes of Korda, Solar, Trakker, Tails Up, Delkim, Armaled, Gold Label Tackle, Hinders, Tony's Tackle, Venture Tackle, Sensas, Angling Technics, Kent Particles, Brentwood Tackle, The Bait & Feed Company, Shimano Linear, Brundall Tackle, Haines Angling, Lee Valley Parks, Eric's Angling, Afishionado. Angling Intelligence... just too many to list
Then there will be loads of entertainment - there's a indoor pool where you can check out bait boats and test your skills in casting competitions. There's also bait boat racing, a rig clinic and bait clinic where you can ask questions, live forums, slide shows, workshops and live demos, antique tackle valuations - plus some fantastic competitions and two £100 free shopping vouchers. Then there is the auction where you can bid for a unique split-cane carp rod especially made by Partridge of Reddich - the proceeds will be going to charity. You can also be the first to register for the British Young Carpers' Angling Championship at the Five Lakes Carp Show - remember only 200 places are available. After that lot you might need the bar and on-site refreshments!
