New 30 for Capesthorne Main Lake

Aug 21,2005 by Julian Grattidge

Mike Foster got in touch with pictures of a stunning 31lb 10oz mirror taken recently from the Main Lake. Mike took the fish whilst floater fishing on the dam. It took Mike a while to get the fish feeding but he persevered with it and eventually got the take. The fish dived into the pads but after some gentle persuasion he managed to get it back out and into the net. What can we say!? A truly stonking fish. I’ve actually seen this fella a few time myself this year whilst on the Main Lake and was sure it would go thirty – and what a thirty it is... Pure Class!
