Pendle View has seen a vast increase in catches over the last week. Both carp and pleasure anglers have taken good fish from the venue, with more fish expected as the weather gets better. Catches include a 4lb Perch, Bream to 9lb, and an impressive 3lb Crucian Carp.

The Carp fishing has been slow, but some nice fish have been taken, and venue regulars are hopefully as the bigger fish are now starting to show themselves in the upper layers of the water. Maggots have proved to be a good bait, taking numerous fish around 11lb, with new anglers now taking fish from the Main Lake.
The staff at Pendle View would also like to invite anglers to their Pendle View Carp League, a midweek carp-based competition that will run from now until December. Pegs can be reserved for anglers, with the first prize totalling a £500 value, with prizes for second and third - placed anglers.
