Llyn y Gors Fishery Report 09/07/06

Yet again Llyn y Gors has proved to be throwing numerous fish up of all sizes and weights, here's latest update.

Local youngster Daniel Congrave had an excellent days fishing on the pleasure lake. Daniel fished the method feeder and caught over 80 lb of fish during a frantic session. Daniel is pictured with his cracking net of fish. Llion Pritchard decided to target the silvers during his day session, Llion fished caster on the pole, with only a 4 elastic landed over 30 lb of quality roach and skimmers. Andy Crampton weighed in with 50 lb of carp during a short 4 hour session on the pleasure lake fishing Dynamite Strawberry and Ice Cream boilies.
Fishery Assistant Nick Slater fished a couple of hours after a days work and pulled out 50 lb of carp and barbel on peg 11 on our match lake. Nick fished his 11 metre pole to the island shelf with pellet and meat on the hook.

Nick Ross caught his first ever catfish during a 48 hour session on the Old Carp Lake. Nick fished "The Backs" and banked his 21 lb moggie on Smartbaits CSL boilies. A 9 lb 6 oz ghostie followed again on Smartbaits CSL. Gary Risley junior caught a brace of commons on his 24 hour session on "The Point" swim. Gary picked both fish from just off the reed island, both fell to well presented Scopex Squid Liver pop-ups.
Barrie Thomas was very pleased to land a 17 lb 12 oz common on a 24 hour session on Thompson's Pool. Barrie fished the "Double Bay" swim on Kevin Nash Monster Pursuit boilies.
