Llyn Y Gors on Heat!

Jun 12,2006 by Adam Bunting

Good fishing this week despite the hottest temperatures of the year so far. Terry Morris had a cracking session on the Old Carp Lake landing eleven fish, the biggest a catfish weighing 16 lb 8 oz.

Terry fished "The Point" swim. Dave Williams caught his first ever catfish during his 24 hour session. Dave bivvied up in the "New Bay" fishing Nash B2 boilies and landed a common of 13 lb 3 oz and his catfish scaling 18 lb 4 oz. Well done Dave. Youngster Gwion Wright fished a 24 hour session on the Old Lake and banked a beautiful 15 lb common on floating bread. Gwion spotted fish topping in "The Door" swim and fancied a bit of stalking which certainly paid off!

Mark Ward - 26lb

Marc Ward continues to produce the goods, this time with a bulky 26 lb mirror. Marc fished Heathrow Baits's M&M pop-up taking his second fish of the week in "The Double Bay" swim.

Daniel Brown bagged a 19 lb common on floating bread. Daniel fished the"Barbecue" swim. Barrie Thomas caught a 22 lb mirror during his 72 hour session in "The Nightmare" swim. Barrie fished MB Black boilies.
