Geoff gets Koi at Big Sandyway

North West Carp regular Geoff Johnson has been in touch to tell us about a stunning koi he caught recently from Sandiway Big Lake.

Geoff fished an Assassin8 boilie over a bed of mixed pellets and boilies close to the side of a weed bed. The fish put up a fantastic fight once in the net went 18lb 10oz.

Geoff also informs us he lost another very good fish during the same session from the same spot, but unfortunately the it came off once he’d done the hard work of getting it out of the weedbed! Never mind though, this stunner certainly makes up for it!
