Carpy New Year!

Blackwood Pool was the first foray of 2005 for the members of Northern-Monkey, and she duly obliged providing fish for Julian Grattidge and Chris Knapper. The first fish came to Julian’s rods, a nice Blackwood linear at 9lb 6oz. Chris followed suit later that night with a double figure common, and then went on to bag his biggest from the venue to date; the Parrot at 15lb 8oz. All fish were looking fine in their winter colours and hopefully will be the first of many to come during 2005.
