Aqua Highfield Fisheries Spring Carp Championship Results

The Highfield Fisheries Spring Carp Championship sponsored by Aqua Products proved to be a resounding success, both in terms of the fish banked during the two-weekend event and the prizes on offer for the winning teams. The overall contest was won by the pairing of Ian Harding and John Weir and congratulations go out to the both of them from all at NWC.

Fishery bailiff George Wilson informed NWC that all 12 teams fished very well over the two weekends during what could only be described as poor conditions for the time of year, so overall the results and amount of fish caught reflect very well on the hard work put in by all teams.

The organisers would like to express their thanks to Aqua and Trakker for the generous prizes and also to Highfield staff and Management , George & Anne Wilson, Steve Pears, Steve Kilshaw and John made it a very enjoyable weekend for all concerned with great facilities and cracking food.
