Main Lake Haul for Julian Grattidge

With fishing time extremely limited due to his forthcoming wedding; Julian made the most of a two day session on Capesthorne at the start of the season. After initially setting up on the Top Pool, the going was extremely slow with just two fish banked from other areas of the lake. This was enough for Julian to break out the stalking gear and go in search of the fish. After finding them in the bay, and then spooking them all away after landing a 7lb 11oz tench, he ventured onto the main lake to see if he could do better there. After some stealthy tactics, worm and particle soon became the downfall for four cracking Main Lake carp of; 14lb 2oz, 18lb 4oz, 19lb 14oz, and 25lb 4oz.
